Highlights and stats 2025

All things considered, January was not good for me. A lot has happened since the new year kicked in. The fireworks did not erase much of the bad luck I guess.

Before all the 2026 stuff, I just want to do some shallow review, with highlights and stats for 2025. It isn't late for an annual review, is it?

Highlights

Looking back, I just realized I haven't done much in the past year. The happenings have not been interesting either, as evidenced by the lack of notable entries.

Running

Based on my tracking, I ran a total of 545km last year, up from 474km in 2024. That's a significant increase for my standards. I also ran my fastest 5km attempts in 2025:

In October, I did my longest run (18km). In December, I was supposed to join a half-marathon but the race unfortunately got cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions.

Movies

I was able to watch 22 movies in 2025, which was a LOT for me.

I got hooked heavily into psych thriller movies from March to July and then completely forgot about movies in the next months until December.

This was supposed to be just a presentation of stats. And I really haven't done much reflection for 2025. I'm not sure if that's still on the table but either way this post should suffice for now. I guess I still have not settled my head around everything happening. Still processing..
